Financial hardships can put a lot of strain on students and their education. The Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya Canberra Chapter (AAUPCC) offered 26 scholarships in 2022 with the contribution of direct doners and association fund to help easing some financial burdens. The students were chosen from nine faculties based on the recommendation of the Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya. The scholarships offered this year are worth 936,000 rupees. Each student receives an annual total of 36,000 rupees, which is to be accessible as monthly instalments.
